George Fritts ~ Executive Director George is a retired Air Force pilot of 20 years who founded The Workshop Counseling. He currently is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the mid-cities area with a Master in Theology, Pastoral Care and Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. George has a wide range of experiences which helps him to relate to a wide range of people including but not limited to being a father, grandfather, brother, veteran, friend, Life Group Leader, and ordained minister. He has also worked in the past as a state-wide director for a behavioral health organization; and currently has been organizing and running a Living Grace support group going on 5 years as of 2020. He is a compassionate counselor who believes in bridging the gap between the mental health community and the stigma within the church, and how both clients and their families can work together to live in harmony of the Gospel of the Lord's heart towards this area. In his spare time, George enjoys golf, games of all kinds, spending time with his family and friends, watching football, and reading.
Rowland Wilson ~ President Rowland is a retired U.S Air Force officer and former real estate broker. He brings to the organization over 30 cumulative years of organizational leadership, marketing and administrative experience. Rowland is a longtime resident of the Mid-Cities community and is a member of Shady Oaks Baptist Church where he has served as deacon and committee chair. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, traveling and spending time with his wife and family. His education includes a B.B.A. Marketing from Texas Tech University. Rowland says he likes The Workshop Counseling "because it offers access to faith based mental health counseling for people in our community regardless of their economic situation."
Laura Sanders ~ Secretary
Jimmy Sanders ~ Vice President Jimmy has been a successful small business owner and entrepreneur for over 30 years and is the co-owner of Building Maintenance II. He offers years of experience operating and managing business organizations. Jimmy also has prior experience as both a licensed real estate and insurance agent. Jimmy is married to Laura and have two adult sons, Jeff and Cody. Jimmy is an active member of Shady Oaks Baptist Church and has served on several committees. His hobbies include playing golf, watching football and spending time with his family. Jimmy says he supports The Workshop “because of its association with his church and because it offers all ages of people in our community an activity-based counseling opportunity in a less formal, low key setting.”
John Chaloupka ~ Treasurer John is a retired corporate chief auditing officer and currently a sole practitioner with a small CPA practice. His wife Paula and he live in Bedford, Texas, and have two grown, daughters, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He currently is Certified Public Accountant licensed by the State of Texas and a retired Certified Fraud Examiner; and in his spare time enjoys golfing and volunteering at my church. John says “after a family tragedy many years ago, my daughters and I benefited from grief counseling services. While beneficial, such services came at quite an expense and fortunately, we were financially able to afford them. I have since become aware of several who were less fortunate and could not access professional counseling. He supports The Workshop because (1) The Workshop provides an “affordable” and unique counseling resource to those in need and (2) it does so grounded upon Biblical principles and the teachings of Jesus.”
Alan Bain Alan is currently an equipment operator for Tarrant County since 2012. He is married to his wife Paula with two children and graduated from L.D. Bell high school. In his spare time he enjoys long motorcycle rides and going to the shooting range. “I support The Workshop based on the structure of the counseling. The idea of engaging the client in an activity they are interested in while talking with them makes total sense to me”

Richard Adams A native Oklahoman, Richard is a graduate of Dallas Baptist College and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also holds Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Richard is currently serving Shady Oaks Baptist Church as Executive Pastor. He is active in several professional organizations such as Exec Pastor, TheChurchNetwork (National Association of Church Business Administrators), and American Management Association. He serves NEED and Tumbleweed Adult Care.
